PHOENIX – Select Mesa restaurants are participating in Mesa Family Take Out Night to support downtown businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Starting May 6, participating downtown Mesa restaurants will offer a 4 for $44 dinner special for multi-course meals.

The special will run every Wednesday through July.

“This is a great opportunity for our residents to support our great downtown restaurants when they need it the most,” District 4 Councilmember Jen Duff said in a press release.

“The City of Mesa has worked hard to revitalize our downtown area and we want to make sure that momentum doesn’t slow down during these times.”

A full list of restaurants that are taking part in the campaign can be found on Visit Mesa’s website.

Anyone who participates is encouraged to post their meals on social media using #Mesatakeout.

The arts community is also getting involved with the campaign.

Every Wednesday, the Mesa Arts Center will post short videos to create at-home crafts.

Anyone who participates is asked to share their creations on social media using #TogetherintheDesert.

Those who post will be entered to win a family art experience from Mesa Arts Center as well as Downtown Mesa gift cards.

We want to hear from you.
