PHOENIX — A virtual public hearing regarding tuition proposals for Arizona’s three state universities will be webcast for students and individuals to comment on, the Arizona Board of Regents announced in a press release on Friday.

The hearing is set to take place on Monday from 3-5 p.m. and comes after Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University and the University of Arizona announced their tuition proposals for the 2020-21 academic year.

Those seeking to solely listen in on the hearing and watch the live stream without comment can do so by going to ABOR Live for instructions.

Those wishing to participate in the hearing and comment on the tuition proposals can do so by following the aforementioned instructions and filling out an online form.

Comments on tuition proposals can also be submitted on ABOR’s contact page or via email at tuition@azregents.edu.

The next step in the tuition-setting process will be a virtual board meeting that will also be live-streamed on May 7.

The board is expected to vote on the tuition proposals, which include online, non-resident, University of Arizona Colleges of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine tuition, and program and class fees.

According to the release, the board is not increasing resident tuition rates at this time.

As a result of the virtual public hearing on April 27, public comments regarding tuition and fees will not be taken at the board meeting on May 7.

We want to hear from you.
