PHOENIX – Authorities on Tuesday canceled a Silver Alert for an 80-year-old Phoenix man with a mental disability who was located in good health.
Bruce Preston Auguh went missing from his home near 12th Street and Camelback Road for the second time in two weeks on April 14, and the Silver Alert was issued the next day.
He was found near his home by a citizen and returned to his family, according to police.
Auguh has only lived at the residence for about a month or two and is unfamiliar with the area, and he has a condition that can cause him to appear confused or disoriented.
Auguh is 5-feet, 2-inches tall and 115 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He walks with a cane and was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt, blue sweat pants, brown slippers and a green jacket.
He was the subject of a Silver Alert issued March 31 after he walked away from his home. He was spotted by somebody who saw the alert, and police returned him safely.
Anybody with information about Auguh’s whereabouts was asked to call the Phoenix Police Department at 602-262-6151.
