PHOENIX — The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation and Reentry posted an online dashboard on Monday detailing coronavirus testing of the state’s prison population.
According to the dashboard, 77 of the prison system’s inmates have been tested for COVID-19.
There have been 9 confirmed cases, 64 negative results and 4 tests which remain pending.
The dashboard also includes a map of ADCRR’s facilities, along with information regarding tests that have occurred at each location.
Tucson’s facility has administered 18 tests — the most in the state.
The Eyman and Marana facilities both house 3 inmates with coronavirus; Florence has two positive inmates and Tucson has one.
ADCRR announced the first two positive cases of coronavirus among its inmate population in an April 7 press release, at which time 60 prisoners had been tested.
One of the two initial confirmed cases had been treated in a community hospital for symptoms unrelated to coronavirus, and then tested negative twice for COVID-19 before being diagnosed.
The other case was diagnosed and treated at Marana Community Correctional Treatment Facility.
The department says it will update its website daily with new coronavirus information.
