PHOENIX – The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Valley swim coach last week for allegedly engaging in a sexual relationship with a minor.

Nathan Moore, 43, coached at a number of local gyms, high schools, community and aquatic centers throughout the Metro Phoenix area.

The investigation began March 19 when deputies responded to a call in which a teenage girl’s parents reported that she said she had been in a sexual relationship with Moore.

The relationship allegedly began when the girl was 15 years old and ended when she was 17, MCSO said.

Moore was arrested on April 3 and booked on one count of sex abuse and five counts of sex conduct with a minor.

MCSO believes there may be additional victims.

Anybody with information was asked to contact the MCSO special victim’s unit at 602-876-1011.

We want to hear from you.
