PHOENIX — Three Valley freeways will have closures due to construction projects while restrictions will slow drivers on other highways this weekend, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

In the West Valley, westbound Interstate 10 will be closed at Fairway Drive from 9 p.m. Friday to noon Saturday for bridge work.

The westbound I-10 ramps at 107th Avenue and Avondale Boulevard will also be closed.

Also, eastbound I-10 will be narrowed to three lanes between Avondale Boulevard and the Loop 101 Agua Fria Freeway from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday for lane striping.

The eastbound I-10 ramp to northbound Loop 101 and the eastbound I-10 on-ramp at Avondale Boulevard will also be closed during that time.

In north Phoenix, the eastbound Loop 101 Pima Freeway will be closed between Seventh Street and Cave Creek Road from 7 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday for a freeway widening project.

The eastbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Seventh Avenue will also be closed.

Also, the eastbound Loop 101 off-ramp at Cave Creek Road will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday and the eastbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Cave Creek Road will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 7 p.m. Saturday for the same closure.

In the Northwest Valley, northbound Loop 303 will be closed between Happy Valley and Lake Pleasant parkways from 10 p.m. Friday to noon Saturday for installation of electronic message signs as part of a freeway technology project.

Northbound Loop 303 will also be closed from Grand Avenue to El Mirage Road from 10 p.m. Saturday to noon Sunday for the same project.

In the North Valley, southbound Interstate 17 will be narrowed to one lane and northbound I-17 will be narrowed to two lanes near Happy Valley Road from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Sunday and Monday nights for an interchange reconstruction.

In Scottsdale, the westbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Pima Road/Princess Drive and westbound off-ramp at Hayden Road will be closed for approximately 60 days beginning Sunday at 9 p.m. for reconstruction as part of a freeway widening project.

Finally, the southbound I-17 ramp to westbound I-10 will be closed at the split interchange near Sky Harbor Airport from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday for maintenance.
