PHOENIX – The spring Tempe Festival of the Arts was one of many events that had to cancel due to the coronavirus outbreak in Arizona.
The Downtown Tempe Authority has turned the festival, originally scheduled for March 27-29, into a virtual experience.
The art listing features all of the artists that would’ve taken part in the festival.
It provides images of their art as well as links to the artists social media and website.
The artist specialties include painting, mixed media, ceramics, photography, metal work and more.
The festival is still planning to proceed with the fall festival Dec. 4 to 6 in downtown Tempe.
The spring and fall festivals have been a staple in Tempe for over 40 years.
According to the festival’s website, the event usually attracts more than 225,000 visitors over the course of a 3-day weekend.
