Freeway closures spread across metro Phoenix this weekend

PHOENIX — Freeway restrictions, including closures on three highways, scattered across metro Phoenix will affect drivers this weekend, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
In west Phoenix, westbound Interstate 10 will be closed between 43rd and 67th avenues from 1 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday for lane striping near the Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway interchange.
The westbound I-10 ramps to the southbound South Mountain Freeway and the northbound South Mountain Freeway ramp to westbound I-10 will be closed during that time.
In the West Valley, I-10 will be closed at Fairway Drive from 11 p.m. Friday to 5 p.m. Saturday for bridge construction at a future interchange.

The westbound I-10 ramps at 107th Avenue and Avondale Boulevard will also be closed.
In the North Valley, southbound Interstate 17 will be closed at Happy Valley Road from 10 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday for bridge construction.
Northbound I-17 will be closed at Happy Valley Road from 10 p.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Sunday for the same construction.
In the East Valley, northbound Loop 101 Price Freeway will be closed between the Loop 202 Santan Freeway and Elliott Road from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for rubberized asphalt paving as part of a widening project.
Finally, the Loop 202 Santan Freeway ramps to I-10 will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 2 p.m. Saturday for sign installation.
