Chris Brown isn’t always, if ever, portrayed by the media in a positive light. But here’s proof he’s not only a troublemaker. Deep down, the 24-year-old R&B singer has a kind heart.

According to E! News, Brown left his court-ordered rehab digs to spread some holiday cheer at the Brooklyn Projects skateboard shop in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Don’t worry, he was granted permission to leave.

The singer was all smiles as he collected toys for the needy and posed for photos with kids.
