Kevin Nealon to host Tempe comedy show for cancer-stricken friend

Weeds star Kevin Nealon is organizing a charity comedy show at the Tempe Improv on Wednesday and urging his fans to help a worthy cause.
Nealon will donate 100 percent of the show’s proceeds to his close friend who’s battling stage 4 lung cancer. The comedian will be headlining the show.
Nealon is best known for his work on “Saturday Night Live,” along with onscreen roles in “Grandma’s Boy,” “Weeds,” “Happy Gilmore” and “Anger Management.”
The laughs kick off at 8 p.m. and tickets are $25.
