Scandals, prisoner swap and Tienanmen anniversary

Jun 5, 2014, 11:52 PM | Updated: 11:52 pm

This week’s Think Tank explores two scandals, one national, one local: the VA Scandal and allegations Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne’s office put state paid employees to work on his re-election campaign.

We also discuss differing points of view on the prisoner exchange for U.S. serviceman Bowe Bergdahl for five Taliban who were in Guantanamo.

Finally, this week is the 25th anniversary of the Tienanmen Square massacre. We discuss some little-known aspects of that confrontation and make some personal observations on how China has evolved in the quarter century since.
