Busy, Smart, and Strong: Why you don’t need to go ‘gluten-free’

Everyone’s doing it. Or so it seems. Going “gluten-free” seems to be the fad du jour.

Thing is, for a lot of people it isn’t a fad at all, it’s a necessity because they suffer from celiac disease.

May is celiac awareness month and the Valley’s Dr. Andrea Purcell (who, by the way, is NOT gluten-free), explains the mysteries, such as, how to know if you should eliminate gluten from your diet and what exactly IS gluten?!
