PHOENIX — Arizona foodies, rejoice.

The new east wing of Scottsdale Quarter is about to be the home of MIXT, a fast-casual restaurant featuring a plethora of healthy food options and the Valley’s first “salad valet” service, according to a press release.

MIXT’s grand opening will take place on Saturday March 7 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on 15125 N. Scottsdale Road.

The first 250 diners will receive a free tote bag to include various discounts from other local businesses and there will also be multiple printmaking workshops available to attendees.

Grand opening patrons will also be contributing to a good cause by participating in Saturday’s event.

All of the day’s proceeds will help support The Joy Bus, a local nonprofit that delivers fresh food to homebound cancer patients in the Valley.

Philanthropy and community impact play a large role in MIXT’s vision as the restaurant is a designated Certified B Corporation, a legal classification for businesses that “balance purpose and profit,” the release states.

MIXT’s new Scottsdale location is one of 16 total, the others residing in California and Texas.

We want to hear from you.
