Inspired Soles Art Show and Auction opens Friday

Apr 5, 2013, 7:25 PM

The Inspired Soles Art Exhibit featuring local Phoenix artists and designers opens Friday night!

The second annual Inspired Soles art show and auction, featuring dozens of stilettos, opens at the 6th Avenue Gallery on Friday. Over 60 Phoenix artists, designers and local celebs have transformed stiletto heels into works of art for this popular exhibit, a benefit
presentation for ArtLink Phoenix.

Some of this year’s most fanciful creations include shoes transformed into unicorns, roller coasters and underwater fantasies; they’re painted, feathered, embellished with
jewels, fabrics, butterflies and wings — just about everything you can imagine!

The exhibit will be unveiled for a one-night event and auction taking place Friday evening
from 6 p.m to 10 p.m. The public is invited to attend and meet the artists behind the
shoes; the silent auction will conclude at 8:30 p.m and a live auction will then
commence.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Art Link Phoenix, a non-profit
organization dedicated to supporting the Phoenix art community.

The Inspired Soles exhibit will be open for private events and by appointment through
April.

6th Avenue Gallery is located at 650 N. 6th Avenue in downtown Phoenix. For more
