PHOENIX — The Arizona Humane Society is offering half-price adoptions at select Valley PetSmart locations this weekend.
The promotion is part of PetSmart’s National Adoption Weekend and will run Friday through Sunday.
The special offer will be available for those who want to adopt pets at Petsmart locations in Mesa (1733 S. Stapley Drive), Scottsdale (4380 N. Miller Road) and Glendale (7290 W. Bell Road).
The Mesa and Scottsdale locations are normal Arizona Humane Society adoption spots, but the Glendale PetSmart location is only for the special weekend. About 20 pets will be available in Glendale.
All pets up for adoption are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.
Adopters will receive a bag of Hill’s Science Diet food, free pet insurance for a month and a free follow-up exam with VCA Animal Hospitals.
The Arizona Humane Society said it is currently caring for more than 700 pets and that the adoption special will help make room for sick, injured and abused animals.
