And the debate goes on about the true therapeutic value of medical marijuana. Some doctors continue to resist giving their approval, while others point out fully-researched cases of relief from all sorts of side effects, including nausea, pain and anxiety.
But this past week a completely new discovery was made. In at least one case, regular marijuana use can prevent concussions and other injuries associated with playing football at the highest level. Arizona Cardinals linebacker Daryl Washington smoked weed, failed yet another drug test and was suspended for the entire upcoming season. Therefore, he has miraculously avoided any of the physical problems his teammates might suffer, because he doesn’t have any teammates.
And those he had are, no doubt, speculating at what point in Washington’s already stellar career did he have his values, his loyalties and his common sense surgically removed. Using again despite knowing that the NFL would be watching closely causes us to conclude that Washington has already suffered brain damage.
