Flying Santa

The conversations with both parents and children were delightful with responses ranging from underwear and socks to a Samsung Galaxy to a big screen television. Everybody had fun talking to the jolly old elf before boarding, but nowhere near the joy they experienced after landing and going to the baggage carousel.

There, the alarm bells rang, the carousel started, but instead of luggage, down the chute came the presents they had asked for purchased by West Jet employees in a whirlwind shopping trip. The scene was a Christmas miracle filled with laughter, shock, tears and the discovery that there is a Santa Claus. He travels on West Jet. I never heard of them before, but now I’ll remember them every Christmas.
