PHOENIX — People can start their day – or end it – the right way by enjoying some pancakes and helping kids at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
The breakfast item that is enjoyed worldwide can be had for free at IHOP on Tuesday as part of their National Pancake Day starting at 7 a.m.
Each guest receives one free stack of buttermilk pancakes at participating restaurants across the Valley.
In appreciation for the free pancakes, people can donate any amount of money to the Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
The restaurant is hoping to raise $50,000.
Since creating the special occasion back in 2006, IHOP has raised more than $30 million for charity.
While IHOP’s National Pancake Day takes place on Tuesday, it is actually one of the two days on the calendar honoring the fluffy meal.
According to National Today, National Pancake Day is also celebrated on Sept. 26.
Let’s be honest, a food this great deserves to be celebrated more than once per year.
