Castles-n-Coasters offering discounted admission for food bank donations

PHOENIX – Theme park enthusiasts can receive discounted admission to Castles-n-Coasters on Sunday while helping St. Mary’s Food Bank.
The amusement park will offer $10 admission to anyone who brings in 10 canned food items.
Donations from the event will be used to help St. Mary’s fill about 45,000 emergency food boxes that they distribute each month.
St. Mary’s volunteers will be stationed near the main entrance to give donors vouchers to redeem at the ticket window.
The canned food must be 12 oz. containers of peanut butter or canned chicken, meals, vegetables or fruits. Other items will not be accepted for the offer.
The offer is only valid Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
The food bank also accepts cash donations through its website.
