Cave Creek to host first craft beer festival at the end of the month

PHOENIX — Those looking to down some frosty beverages will have their chance to taste concoctions from more than 30 breweries in one place at the first Cave Creek Craft Beer Festival.
The event takes place Feb. 29 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Stagecoach Village on East Cave Creek Road and Galloway Drive.
General admission tickets are $45 and VIP tickets run $60.
Proceeds from the beer festival benefit the Cave Creek Rodeo Days, a non-profit association dedicated to preserving the heritage of the west.
General entry tickets get patrons a sampling mug and 20 drink tickets.
The VIP ticket provides early access, five extra tickets and a $7 food voucher to purchase pub grub that will be offered for sale throughout the event.
Along with top craft beer breweries, people will also be able to get their hands on some cider, kombucha and meads.
Live music for the event will be provided by Lindsey Vogt, according to the official website.
Offsite parking with a shuttle is available from Outlaws throughout the event.
Attendees must be at least 21 years old and the event is pet-free.
