PHOENIX — Looking for a place to grab a drink or a bite but don’t want to leave your furry friend behind?
Ted’s Refreshments in Tempe might have an answer for that.
The Chicago-themed bar will be opening Ted’s Dog Park on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., as the newly built dog park is an extension of the already existing patio.
Guests will be able to let their dogs roam unleashed in the dog park while ordering food and drinks from the bar.
Live music is scheduled from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and food and drink specials include two-for-one hot dogs, $3 Jameson and well drinks, $4 Bloody Mary’s, $5 margaritas and $7 Pedal Haus pitchers.
And for those that do bring their furry companion, your first drink will only be $1.
Dog lovers can also get a free gift for their four-legged friend by texting “DOGPARK” to 855-336-2917.
Ted’s Refreshments and Dog Park is located on the west side of Mill Avenue just south of the Mill Avenue/Third Street light rail stop.
