Weekend freeway restrictions to again affect drivers across the Valley
PHOENIX — Weekend freeway restrictions are again spread out across the Valley, including on the South Mountain Freeway and Interstate 10, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
In the south Valley, both westbound I-10 ramps to eastbound and westbound Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway will be closed from 3 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday for pavement marking.
Westbound I-10 will also be narrowed to two lanes between Wild Horse Pass Boulevard and the Loop 202 interchange. The westbound I-10 on-ramp at Wild Horse Pass Boulevard will also be closed during that time.
Also, the southbound South Mountain Freeway off-ramp at 24th Street will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday for landscaping. The westbound South Mountain Freeway off-ramp at Desert Foothills Parkway will be closed from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and the eastbound off-ramp at Desert Foothills Parkway will be closed from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday for landscaping work.

In west Phoenix, the eastbound I-10 ramp to southbound Loop 202 will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 8 p.m. Saturday for lane striping.
Eastbound I-10 will be narrowed to two lanes between 75th and 63rd avenues. Eastbound I-10 on-ramps at 83rd and 75th avenues and eastbound off-ramp at 67th Avenue will also be closed.
In the West Valley, northbound Loop 303 will be closed at Northern Parkway from 10 p.m. Friday to noon Saturday and between Cactus and Waddell roads from 10 p.m. Saturday to noon Sunday for installation of traffic flow sensors as part of a freeway technology project.
The southbound Loop 303 on-ramp at Peoria Avenue will also be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 1 a.m. Saturday.
In the North Valley, Interstate 17 will be narrowed to two lanes in both directions between Pinnacle Peak and Happy Valley roads from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Sunday and Monday for an interchange reconstruction project.
Back in the West Valley, the eastbound I-10 on-ramp and westbound off-ramp at Dysart Road will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 11 a.m. Saturday for ongoing construction of a new interchange at Fairway Drive in Avondale.
Also, westbound I-10 will be narrowed to three lanes from Avondale Boulevard to Dysart Road from 10 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday.
Finally, the eastbound U.S. 60 will be narrowed to two lanes in areas between Power and Crismon roads in Mesa from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Sunday and Monday for pavement improvement work.
