PHOENIX — Love cats and going to the movies?
This year’s CatVideoFest just may be the purr-fect thing to check out.
The fest is screening at both the Alamo Drafthouse Tempe and Alamo Drafthouse Chandler in 2020. The theaters will have screenings at noon from Feb. 29 to March 1. Tickets are priced at $11.75.
“CatVideoFest curates a compilation reel of the latest, best cat videos culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos, and, of course, classic internet powerhouses,” the fest’s website read.
A portion of the ticket proceeds will go toward the Arizona Animal Welfare League.
“Screening events take place all over the world in a host of venues and raise money for cats in need, often through partnerships with local charities, animal welfare organizations and shelters to identify how best to serve cats in the area,” the CatVideoFest website read.
In addition to the Valley locations, The Loft Cinema in Tucson will also feature CatVideoFest on Feb. 21.
