Overnight closures scheduled for I-17 in North Valley this week

PHOENIX — North Valley drivers on Interstate 17 will have to deal with overnight lane closures this week, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
The I-17 will be narrowed to either one or two lanes in each direction near Pinnacle Peak and Happy Valley roads Sunday through Thursday nights from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The northbound I-17 off-ramp at Pinnacle Peak Road will be closed.
ADOT suggests considering using Rose Garden Lane/Deer Valley Road and traveling east to northbound 19th Avenue to reach Pinnacle Peak Road.
The southbound I-17 on-ramp at Pinnacle Peak Road will also be closed. Consider entering southbound I-17 at Happy Valley or Deer Valley roads.
The $50 million I-17 interchange reconstruction project at Pinnacle Peak and Happy Valley roads is planned to be completed this fall.
