PHOENIX — Drivers across metro Phoenix will again have to deal with freeway restrictions this weekend, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
In the West Valley, eastbound Interstate 10 will be closed between 107th and 99th avenues from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for freeway lane striping and sign work.
The lane striping changes will allow a second eastbound I-10 lane to travel onto the ramp to northbound Loop 101, which currently only has a one-lane connection.
Other restrictions will accompany the I-10 closure.
The eastbound I-10 on-ramp at Avondale Boulevard and westbound I-10 HOV lane between 91st and 107th avenues will be closed during those times.
