The Weekly DownLloyd: The Sterling mess grows

As the producer of Mac & Gaydos, this is my own unique, weird, wacky and, at times, warped look at the week’s seven biggest stories.
Mark Cuban shares his opinion
Mark Cuban’s taking some heat and I’m not sure why. He admitted if he saw a black guy in a hoodie or a white guy covered in tattoos, he’d cross the street to get away from them.
What’s wrong with that? That has nothing to do with race. When I go out and walk at night, if I see a disheveled big dude I’m crossing the street too!
I think Cuban would’ve been willing to give Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling a pass on his initial recorded comments that TMZ got ahold of. When Sterling talked with CNN a week ago though, he dug himself into a much deeper hole. I don’t think Sterling is a racist as much as he’s an old guy who’s opinions aren’t in line with mainstream America anymore. His days of being an owner will eventually be numbered.
Proposal videos have gone too far
A boyfriend’s proposal video recently hit the web, and I’m convinced proposal videos have now jumped the shark. This guy took four years and traveled to over 25 countries to piece it all together.
At first these things were cute, but when it takes four years to put it together, give me a break! What if she said no? How low would that guy feel then?
Dr. Alexander Imich is now the world’s oldest living man. Clocking in at 111 years old, Imich says he owes it all to a moderately healthy lifestyle and good genes.
Well, isn’t that just great? I thought this guy was going to say he ate an apple a day or ran 10 miles a week. If the secret to longevity is good genes, and you’re in a family with not-so-good genes, there’s not much you can do about it.
Some secret this guy had. I’m giving him a demerit!
