Weekly DownLloyd: Mello Edition

May 9, 2014, 12:38 AM | Updated: 10:40 pm

As the producer of Mac & Gaydos, this is my own unique, weird, wacky and, at times, warped look at the week’s seven biggest stories.

This week, James Mello, the Producer of the Rob & Karie show here at KTAR joins me…

Failing personal finance

I was always pretty responsible with my money growing up, today I’m doing pretty well. If you struggle to save though this article on personal finance is one you don’t want to miss.

Do I know exactly how much is in my bank accounts or exactly what I spend each month, no, but meh, I’ll live. I know I’ve got enough. Could I do better, yes. At the end of the day Lloyd Banks gives himself a B in personal finance.

Million dollar mobile home

A million dollar house is something I’ll likely never have, unless I start skimming money off Mac and Gaydos’ paychecks. I was surfing around the web though and discovered manufacturers are cranking out million dollar mobile homes. Who the heck wants a million dollar house on wheels? Me, that’s who!

In fact I’d rather have a million dollar mobile home than an actual house. You can take this sucker anywhere. Now sure the gas for that thing might bankrupt whoever buys it, but there’s always siphoning.

If this hurts, don’t ignore it

I always kind of chuckle when I see these lists. If you were in the midst of a heart attack how the heck could you possibly ignore that?

I’m convinced these lists just freak people out with their unspeakable pain. People always read them though because they don’t want to die!
