The Weekly DownLloyd: Top seven stories of the week

As the producer of Mac & Gaydos, this is my own unique, weird, wacky, and at times, warped look at the week’s seven biggest stories.
Do not “help” your kids with their homework
Turns out when you “help” your kids with their homework, you’re really not helping them at all. More often than not, I think parents are doing their kids’ work as opposed to just “helping,” and that doesn’t help kids at all.
I’ve never ripped off a free drink in a restaurant and I certainly won’t look to try it anytime soon. Part of me is bummed the hospital has backed down here because the guy clearly did break the rules. But a $525 fine is ridiculous. It’s not like this guy walked out with 20 drinks! Still, had the fine been $100, I wouldn’t have any problem with it.
Would it creep you out if you were Googled by the restaurant you were dining at? It would creep me out. If a restaurant wants to serve me better, why don’t they just ask what I’d like or if everything is okay? Searching for info about me beforehand comes off very suspicious.
