The Weekly DownLloyd Episode 9: Christmas edition

As the producer of Mac & Gaydos this is my own unique, weird, wacky and, at times, warped look at the week’s seven biggest stories.
Christmas is nearly upon us! Bad news: That atrocious Christmas music has at least a few weeks left to live before we send it out to sea for 11 months. Good news: The Weekly DownLloyd is hear to spread some seasonal joy!
You know things can’t be too bad right now because no one’s complaining about high gas prices. I’m honestly shocked they’ve stayed low for this long. I’m sure it has something to do with the Middle East not being too volatile and perhaps production is up here in North America too. You’re probably asking what the heck do gas prices have to do with Christmas, well hmm, you’ve got me there, except for the fact many of you will be on the roads this holiday season and thus pumping gallons upon gallons of gas into your cars. Just treasure the fact they’re not five bucks a gallon.
In the world we live in where people are at times less than honest with their significant other about what they’re up to when they’re not around I was surprised to see more are trying to hide banking info on their phone than sexts and other racy snapshots. Maybe it’s because I’m not in a relationship right now but what’s the big deal with wanting to hide banking info? Don’t most married couples share accounts? As far as hiding photos and devious behavior that’s sort of obvious.
I’ll leave you with an actual Christmas story. I know I’m always looking to make my Christmas a little brighter and thanks to this list, you can! My two biggest tips, don’t be a grinch or a grouch! Avoid those two evil “G’s” and your Christmas should be plenty merry.
