Obama’s online health care ads focused on young people

If you haven’t noticed by now, there are a lot of commercials on TV and the Web about the need to sign up for the Affordable Care Act.

Stars from entertainment and sports have been enlisted to use their appeal to help bolster the pathetic enrollment numbers since the slap-dash rollout of healthcare.gov last October. The deadline is at the end of this month.

But what you may not have noticed is HOW the president is advertising. In a concerted effort to sign up younger people, the president is using all forms of social media, including straight-to-web productions like “Between Two Ferns” and now we see the new push by the Obama administration on a YouTube channel called “Epic Rap Battles of History.”

The only question now is: Will it work? As of this writing, the numbers of people who have enrolled haven’t come close to government projections.
