PHOENIX — At least 100 jobs will be created over the next three years at WeTravel’s new operating and sales location in Scottsdale, the company announced in a press release on Tuesday.

WeTravel is an online platform in which small travel companies can manage bookings, collect payments and pay suppliers.

“Economic opportunity will continue to flourish for the City of Scottsdale with companies like WeTravel choosing to grow their business in our region,” director of economic development Rob Millar said in the release.

“Their diverse and motivated team will make a great addition to the thriving business community here in Scottsdale.”

After considering Atlanta, Denver and Salt Lake City, Scottsdale was ultimately chosen because of the region’s entrepreneurial spirit and competitive costs to do business, availability of talent and access to local resources.

WeTravel will be hiring for account executives and customer support representatives for its new Scottsdale location, as over 1,200 travel businesses use the platform.

Those that wish to apply can do so online.

“Greater Phoenix continues to see a growing number of innovative technology companies expanding to the region,” president and CEO of the Greater Phoenix Economic Council Chris Camacho said in the release.

“WeTravel’s expansion to Scottsdale is exciting and they join an ecosystem of disruptors that are putting this region on the map.”

We want to hear from you.
