Here’s where to grab the best slices in Phoenix on National Pizza Day

PHOENIX — National Pizza Day is Sunday, so where will you be enjoying your favorite slice?
There are an endless array of options when it comes to selecting your pizza pie of choice.
According to Yelp‘s list of Phoenix’s best pizza sport, Pizzeria Bianco is the best place to spend National Pizza Day.
The pizzeria was also ranked No. 17 in The Daily Meal’s list of the 101 best pizzas in America.
Other Valley favorites to make Yelp’s list include Venezia’s, Streets of New York and Lou Malnati’s, which had its very first Chicago location ranked No. 9 in The Daily Meal’s list.
Grimaldi’s Brooklyn location also came in at the No. 18 spot.
No one type of pizza or style of crust will ever be agreed upon as the world’s best.
But according to Pizza.com, 61% of Americans prefer regular thin crust, while 14% chose deep-dish, followed by extra thin crust at 11%.
And a whopping 251,770,000 pounds of pepperoni pizzas are also consumed every year, as 62% of Americans prefer meat toppings over vegetables.
