Feb 3, 2020, 4:35 AM | Updated: 4:57 am

PHOENIX — Valley motorists traveling during overnight hours should expect freeway restrictions from Feb. 3-7, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

In north Phoenix, eastbound Loop 101 Pima Freeway will be closed at the State Route 51 exchange from 9 p.m. Monday night until 5 a.m. Tuesday morning due to the ongoing freeway widening project.

Also, 32nd Street will be closed in both directions at Loop 101 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday (Feb. 3-6).

The westbound Loop 101 on-ramp at 64th Street and westbound off-ramp at 56th Street will also be closed for two months due to the $185 million improvement project that is adding a lane in each direction between Interstate 17 and Princess Drive/Pima Road. The project is scheduled to be completed by spring 2021.

Other overnight lane restrictions have been scheduled Valley-wide throughout the week as well.

The right two lanes of westbound Interstate 10 will be closed between 75th and 83rd avenues from 9 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday for pavement maintenance. The westbound I-10 on-ramp at 75th Avenue will also be closed.

Additionally, the right two lanes of eastbound I-10 will be closed between 91st and 83rd avenues from 9 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday and between 43rd and 35th avenues from 9 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday.

The eastbound I-10 on-ramps at 91st and 43rd avenues are closed.

Southbound I-17 will be narrowed to one lane and northbound I-17 will be down to two lanes between Happy Valley and Pinnacle Peak roads from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday and Tuesday nights (Feb. 2-6) due to a bridge project.

I-17 will be closed in both directions between Pinnacle Peak and Happy Valley roads from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday nights.

Lastly, eastbound U.S. 60 is also scheduled to be down to two lanes between Loop 101 and Crimson Road from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday nights (Feb. 2-6).
