PHOENIX – More than 100 startups and venture capital investors will descend upon Scottsdale in May.
The 2020 UNMET Conference will be held in Scottsdale May 13-14 at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts. The event will be hosted by the Arizona Commerce Authority and Stout Street Capital.
The conference will provide attendees the chance to network, engage in private meetings and pitch their ideas.
“Under Governor Ducey’s leadership, Arizona has established an incredible reputation as the best place to test, launch and scale new ideas and new technologies,” Arizona Commerce Authority President and CEO Sandra Watson said in a press release.
“The UNMET Conference will serve as yet another tool helping to increase early-stage deal flow and showcase Arizona as a hub for technology and innovation.”
The partnership with Stout Street and ACA is an effort to grow Arizona’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
It’s also the first in a series of events that will come to Arizona to increase access to capital for startups in the United States.
According to the release, an estimated $1.1 billion was raised between 206 investment deals in Arizona in 2019.
Registration for the event is available on the conference’s website.
