PHOENIX — Drivers across metro Phoenix will be littered with freeway restrictions this weekend, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

In north Phoenix, the Loop 101 Pima Freeway will be narrowed to three lanes in both directions at times between State Route 51 and Cave Creek Road from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for freeway bridge work at 32nd Street.

Also, 32nd Street will be closed in both directions at Loop 101.

In the northwest Valley, southbound Loop 303 will be closed between Lake Pleasant Parkway and Lone Mountain Parkway from 10 p.m. Friday to noon Saturday for installation of traffic flow sensors as part of a freeway technology project.

Southbound Loop 303 will be closed for the same project between Lake Pleasant Parkway and Happy Valley Parkway from 10 p.m. Saturday and noon Sunday.

The eastbound Loop 303 on-ramp at Lake Pleasant Parkway will also be closed from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.

In the East Valley, the southbound Loop 101 Price Freeway will be narrowed to two lanes between Baseline and Elliot roads from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday for a widening project.

Southbound Loop 101 will also be narrowed to two lanes overnight between Guadalupe and Elliot roads from 10 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday; 8 p.m. Saturday to 7 a.m. Sunday; and 8 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.

Eastbound U.S. 60 will be narrowed to two lanes in areas between the Loop 101 Price Freeway and Crismon Road from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night from Sunday through Thursday for pavement improvement work.

Both Loop 101 ramps to eastbound U.S. 60 will be closed Sunday night and early Monday morning.

Back in north Phoenix, the westbound Loop 101 on-ramp at 64th Street and westbound Loop 101 off-ramp at 56th street will be closed for 60 days starting at 9 p.m. Sunday for reconstruction as part of an ongoing freeway project.

In west Phoenix, the left two lanes of westbound Interstate 10 will be closed near Guadalupe Road from 9 p.m. to midnight Friday and the HOV lane will be closed midnight to 5 a.m. for pavement maintenance.

Finally, the right two lanes of westbound I-10 will be closed between 27th and 35th avenues from 9 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday for pavement maintenance.

The westbound I-10 on-ramp at 27th Avenue will also be closed during that time.
