If I were king: Welcome, campaign restrictions!

Prior to my election/coronation as your king, I think it’s important to state some of my positions, which I shall decree on Day .

We will still hold elections, but with some changes. Nobody will be allowed to identify with a political party and must run on his or her own ideas and character. Also, the maximum amount that can be spent by a candidate (or parties acting in their interest), is the amount of one year’s salary for that particular office. Anyone spending millions for a job that pays thousands is obviously a crook and in it for all the wrong reasons.
