Respect, friendliness among our leaders shouldn’t be ignored

The news of the past 48 hours has been dominated by photos and stories of President Obama at the Nelson Mandela memorial service. Well, should I say photos and stories making fun of the president for taking a selfie, getting the stinkeye from the first lady or the fake interpreter flailing around behind the world’s leaders as they spoke.
Here is a collection of pictures showing that, unlike the commenters I see, the Obamas, Bushes and Clintons seem to get along pretty well.
I especially love the shot of President Bush showing off his artwork on his iPad to an amused group.
“We” make everything about politics and an “us vs. them” argument. The current and past presidents sit around a table and laugh.
We could all learn a lesson.
