Contrary to popular opinion about the doping allegations of Lance Armstrong and other cyclists, why should any of us care if they cheat?
Aren’t athletes only harming themselves?
We watch sports for the entertainment aspect and the end justifies the means, as evidenced by the hype, ratings and ticket sales surrounding these events. This is about money and fame. Good luck getting everyone to play by the rules when this is at stake.
People still believe athletes are role models? Now THAT’S funny!
Tiger Woods, Kobe Bryant and Mark McGwire are in it for themselves and you are delusional if you think otherwise. And all the cheaters still won and nobody took away their millions or moments of victory.
