Slow motion match stick rockets take flight

Oh, what fun can be had through the lens of a slow motion camera.
Thanks to the creative minds of Gavin Free and Daniel Gruchy, there are literally hundreds of slow motion videos created by the filmmaking duo and available on YouTube to appeal to the inner child in all of us.
Their most recent video above features a homemade match stick rocket comprised of tin foil and, of course, a match. Using a blow torch, they demonstrate the science behind the rocket’s propulsion, proving that the Fourth of July can be celebrated with household items any day of the week.
