Police: 2 dead, 1 injured following shooting in Glendale

PHOENIX — Two are dead and one has been left injured following a shooting in Glendale on Friday night, according to authorities.
Glendale police say that the incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. near 59th and Glendale Avenues.
A 51-year-old victim and his 19-year-old son were approached in a parking lot by a 58-year-old male suspect who shot both of them before shooting himself, according to police.
Authorities say that the 51-year-old father was pronounced deceased on scene, while the 58-year-old suspect was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The 19-year-old son was taken to the hospital for evaluation but did not suffer any life-threatening injuries, according to police.
The identities of all three men were not made available at this time, but the victim and suspect did know each other as former business partners.
