Tails wagging in Surprise this weekend at Copper Classic Dog Show
PHOENIX – Thousands of tails will be wagging in the West Valley this weekend at the Copper Classic Dog Show.
The event runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday-Sunday at Mark Coronado Park (formerly 8-Acre Park), 15850 N. Bullard Ave. in Surprise, between Bell and Greenway roads.
Friday’s program is for specialties, with all-breed shows Saturday and Sunday.
Around 2,000 dogs of more than 200 breeds are expected to participate.
The free event, presented by Kachina Kennel Club, also includes dock diving, agility trials, trick testing and other dog demonstrations, plus shopping opportunities for humans.
While all ages are welcome, leave Rover at home. Only the dogs taking part in the show are allowed.
