Faith in Humanity: Australians combine to lift train off man

Now this is manpower.
According to the Huffington Post, a man in Perth, Australia was boarding a train when his leg fell into the space between the platform and car.
The man, along with several bystanders and employees, attempted to free him with no avail. The conductor had been notified so the train wouldn’t move, but the man seemed stuck for good until someone had a crazy idea.
“Then our staff who were there at the time got the passengers, and there were lots of them, off the train, and organized them to sort of rock, tilt the train backwards away from the platform so they were able to get him out and rescue him,” [Transperth spokesman David Hynes told ABC Australia].
After being freed, the man received treatment and boarded a later train.
The irony in this? He fell directly over writing that said “mind the gap.”
