New Paddington Bear: a classic revived or a creepy update?

Grab your duffle coat and suitcase because Paddington Bear is back in action and creepier than ever.
The mischievous Paddington Bear is making his way to the big screen. To help promote the film a picture was released to give audiences a peak at the computer-generated version of the beloved bear. Unfortunately for Warner Bros., who stated the film should be released by the end of the year, the new Paddington was not well received.
The picture caused a frenzy with fans of the bear and within hours the hashtag #CreepyPaddington was trending.
People began inserting the bear into still frames of signature horror films like “The Omen.”
