In New Orleans, one woman is the “afterlife” of the party.
Beer drinkin’, scotch-swillin’ Miriam Burbank recently passed away, but a plain, somber, boring memorial service just didn’t seem right for the woman, according to WGNO-TV.
So, with the help of local funeral directors, Burbank’s daughters bypassed the coffin and went straight for “Weekend at Bernie’s.” Miriam was propped up at a table, in Saints colors, complete with manicured fingernails, Busch beer and menthol cigarettes.
