Chances are, when you were a kid, you made a few promises you couldn’t keep.
According to ABC15.com, when Mike King was 8-years-old he promised his father a 1957 Chevy Bel-Air for his 57th birthday.
King worked 60 hours a week for months to buy his dad the classic car.
His father’s reaction to the fulfilled promise and beautiful car had to have been worth every minute of overtime.
Overwhelmed with emotion, King’s father burst into tears, realizing how much effort was put into the gift.
Moral of the story? Raise yours kids right, teach them to work hard and you might get a car out of it.
