‘BaneCat’ returns for second episode
In March, we shared a video of a YouTube user who dressed his corpulent cat up as the Batman villain Bane.
The saga continues as the YouTube account BloodBlitz has released “BaneCat Episode 2,” a longer iteration than the first video — one which has accumulated more than 5 million views on the social media site.
The cat again shows off the trademark voice from “The Dark Knight Rises,” and this time around, he’s disagreeable with everyone he encounters, including his owner and a veterinarian.
The vet wants to take of BaneCat’s mask, and the feline resists the move.
“It will be extremely painful … FOR YOU,” BaneCat says.
There’s also a funny bit about the feline riding on top off a robot floor vacuum.
“Time to go mobile,” the villain says.
The new clip ends a man showing up at BaneCat’s owner’s door with a flier that says “Cat 4 Sale.”
Will BaneCat be turned over to a new owner? Looks like we’ll have to wait until Episode 3 to find out.
