Silver Alert canceled after Surprise man found safe in Baltimore

PHOENIX — A Silver Alert was canceled Tuesday for a 76-year-old man from Surprise.
Donald Begalke was found safe by the Baltimore Police Department in Maryland, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
He had last been seen near 91st Avenue and Bell Road between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. Monday morning.
DPS said Begalke was trying to fly to his niece’s home in Pittsburgh, but he flew to the wrong city.
Begalke’s niece was in contact with authorities and was planning to pick up her uncle, according to DPS.
