Nothing sounds scarier than a car that doesn’t have a steering wheel or break pedals.

Unless of course that car is powered by Google.

The multinational corporation continues to invest time and resources into developing autonomous technology for its self-driving car project.

This week, a group of volunteers in Mountain View, Calif. had the opportunity to sit inside one of Google’s driverless prototypes.

Needless to say, like a kid at Disneyland, they all came away loving the effortless ride.

“There’s nothing that makes you feel the least bit threatened,” said Nick, one of the lucky volunteers who got to ride in the car. “It’s impressive. I’m totally in love with this whole concept.”
