Mother Nature is amazing…and also terrifying.
A group of storm chasers who call themselves “Basehunters” were following a storm in eastern Wyoming Sunday evening, near the town of Newcastle.
According to The Washington Post, this thunderstorm happened due to “low pressure forming downwind of the Rockies.”
Basehunters kept their cameras rolling, but I bet even they weren’t expecting the spinning supercell that developed.
The time lapse video they created looks so creepy and supernatural. I wonder if their footage will also eventually make its way into a blockbuster film?
