Dodge is celebrating its 100th year in business, and to promote a 2015 model, the American automaker enlisted a bevy of men and women who are around that same age.
All but two of the various seniors featured in a new Challenger commercial were born in 1914 or before — if we are to trust Dodge’s captions. They all show plenty of spunk and even a sense of humor in the 1 minute, 18-second spot. Their dialogue actually has very little to do with the featured vehicle — except in an abstract way.
Car commercials have really been getting increasingly more innovative and attention-grabbing since the latest Super Bowl, and this one is no exception. It has already surpassed 3 million views on YouTube since being posted Thursday.
“Live fast, and never, ever forget where you came from,” the seniors conclude. How that ties into a Dodge Challenger, well you’ll just have to watch.
